Why subscribe?

I am a Boomer, a veteran of anti-Vietnam War protests and a long time activist that seems to be a genetic predisposition or maybe due to my early experiences with LSD in the late 1960s. I also remember when a person could tell a joke and not get fired from their job. I believe that historical context is essential to understanding why our country is beyond broken today and that journalism did not suddenly become horrible after 911, it was horrible before that. All these themes and many other things will be discussed in this space.

I have things to say that people need to hear and consider as they determine solutions to the unbelievable problems we face today.

Come along with me on this journey and hopefully you will get some things to make you think.

I am an equal opportunity criticizer and will call out everyone that needs to be called out. And there are many.
